Kitesurfing for Kids course is prepared and led based on our original program- KITE KIDS. The program was created after years of teaching and learning from the youngest kitesurfing students. During these lessons, we focus on the safety and comfort of our trainees. An important aspect of working with children is leading the lessons in a fun and enjoyable way. We recommend kitesurfing lessons for kids as young as 8 years old. We teach them how to control the small practice kite, and kick off their first water starts on boards! The older the kids, the easier it is for them to coordinate the board and kite. 13 year olds who finished our Kite Kids Course, are now independent kitesurfers and continue to develop their skills with our instructors. It’s also worth mentioning that even 11 year olds compete in Poland’s Kitesurfing Championship, so the sport is truly safe and available for all.

A safe and effective kitesurfing course for kids wouldn’t be possible without the proper equipment.For the young trainees we use FLYSURFER VIRON kites, which are especially designed to suit the needs of children. These kites are very predictable and safe, as they don’t work in squalls. Moreover, kids get colder pretty quickly in the water, so we’re prepared with the thickest wetsuits available- 5/3mm, as well as warm shoes. Of course, no lesson takes place without a life jacket and helmet. For extra security, we choose an empty area for these lessons, so no one will distract their learning.

During windless days we recommend checking out surf lessons for kids or motorboat wakeboarding. Both of these disciplines are a fun addition to the regular kitesurfing course for kids, and they have a great influence on their athletic development.

We’re flexible in our schedules, so we encourage parents to take part in courses with their kids!
